For Sara by OmegaDez

This is a stylized portrait of my friend Sara (Betsuni) who turned twenty-two on november 9. I drew this for her birthday. I'm not sure if she liked it or not, but I sure had a lot of fun drawing it. ^^

I think she might be one of the cutest girls of this planet. (even if she doesn't wear glasses! ^_^)

I let my inspiration guide me for this picture, and it oddly ended up looking a lot different from my usual stuff. I guess I my usual cel-style wouldn't do Sara justice...

Wow the look and layout are top notch. I think the color in the jeans is a bit too saturated for this piece, and the lines should be cleaned up a bit more and maybe faded a little or change color to a brownish tone. I like the sketchness, but a little less would be nice... softer look. I DO think she needs a subtle line for her nose, and her forehead juts out a bit.

The sketchiness gives it such a warm atmosphere. I love her hair especially, it looks very soft, and she has a great smile.

I dig the pants, dude. The picture's pretty soft feelin'.

I guess something constructive would be like... she looks like she doesn't have much of a nose. But it's cool. No worries.
